Carver Court - National Register of Historic Places

Caln Township’s Carver Court neighborhood is home to a 1944 development built to provide segregated housing for African American defense steelworkers and their families during World War II. While Carver Court’s unique architecture is much-lauded in the design world, the close-knit community that developed in the neighborhood is what makes Carver Court truly special.
